Popcorn

Normally when you think of popcorn you think of this 

But there is another type of popcorn

It looks similar. You might find it on the ceiling in your house. In a 25 year old house the popcorn starts to look dirty. Try to paint it and it comes down in globs. Try to dust it it comes down like snow. So today I spent several hours removing the "popcorn" from my ceiling.  I now have smooth clean celings. 

 I like the edible popcorn much better!!

Personalization doesn't always mean a monogram!

Sometimes when you want to personalize something you don't mean with a monogram.  We needed an ottoman for our family room.  I wanted something unique, something no one else had, so I decided to make on.  We found directions at Shanty 2 Chic.  Here is the link http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2012/03/diy-20-cube.html.  Now we changed some of the measurements to fit our room but here is the final product.  Not bad for our first try!
